Mission
The function of the Chicana/o Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association (CLFSA) is to accentuate a culturally diverse academic and social environment thereby increasing the Chicana/o Latina/o presence within Washington State University; and to serve as an advocate between the University’s administration and its Chicana/o Latina/o community.
GOALS
- To provide a support network for Chicana/o Latina/o faculty, staff, and students.
- To promote the recruitment and retention of Chicana/o Latina/o faculty and staff and students.
- To support cultural activities and events of interest and benefit to the Chicana/o Latina/o population and community at large.
- To provide mentoring and support to Chicana/o Latina/o faculty and staff as they seek to address professional concerns within the governance of the WSU system.
- To address concerns brought forth either within the group or in cooperation with appropriate WSU administrative personnel.
